The International Relations Division of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University held “the UPM-NSTRU Outreach Project 2017” from January 22 – January 27 campaigning for “Power Up and Strengthen Others”. On January 23, the welcoming ceremony was arranged at the cultural center. The president of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, Associate Professor Wimon Damsri opened the ceremony along with the Management, Thai and foreign teachers. There was a Thai cultural show, “Sawasdee My Guest”, from Department of Dancing Art, Faculty of Humanities directed by Ajarn Teerawat Changsan. In addition, the traditional Thai musical band directed by Associate Professor Wanchai Uachitmet attended the ceremony. After that, students from Universiti Putra, Malaysia performed their show followed by the cultural exchange session between Thai and Malaysian students. Both students from Universiti Putra and Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University did community services, cleaning and painting at Wat Mahachai Wanaram School on January 24 – 25. The English Camp activity was also organized to educate primary students of Wat Mahachai Wanaram School. On January 26, the students from Universiti Putra and Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University continued their community services at Nakhon Si Thammarat School for the Deaf in Thoongsong district. This project has been recognized and supported by the society. The International Relations Division of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University is committed to develop societies because improving the community is one of NSTRU important missions.
